Photoshoots with Horses

Shoot Location

Photoshoots with horses occur in two locations on site. The shoots ideally start 45 minutes before sunset. The first shooting location is under the trees with a lot of greenery, once the sun starts to set a bit more we move down to the arena where we have a beautiful view of the sunset.

What to Wear

What to wear depends entirely on the style of the shoot. If we are doing a cowgirl, cowgirl shoot, a button up shirt, jeans, boots and a cowboy hat are common. If you are looking for a more angelic look for a little girl, I recommend pastel colors. For adults making a statement or a formal shoot with horses, I recommend brighter colors for adults to make a statement. White is also a beautiful color that stands out against our both of our backgrounds.

Picking a Horse

You might be able to select the color of horse that you want in your shoot. If you have a preference, please let me know!

New to Horses?

If you have never been around horses, that is not a big deal at all, just let me know ahead of time so I can schedule to have an assistant present during your shoot. Rest assured, there is nothing to worry about. Our horses are gentle and great and standing still for photoshoots!
